I know this has been posted before. But because of all the little kiddie crying drama that drowned it out before. I want to refresh this idea... I think that currently the horse idea would be short lived by map warping and not much room to move around on. However, in a latter expansion pack, the areas could become much larger so the need could be justifed. How about Guild Stables? Maybe a duty of a guild member could be to take care of the horses! What about jousting? Hey there you go! Another kind of guild tournament! Most of you surely know your history, did people walk every where on foot during the Medivial times? No! They rode horses! They sailed the high seas!

Also the idea of having ships might be worth while! As a guild you could buy a ship, travel accross sea, and fight...sea monsters? Sure! Why not! Maybe even have ship battles againest other guilds on sea. Another type of guild tournament! Hey besides if everyone keeps talking about having a guild bank account and sharing gold, then what are you going to spend it on? Food? Nope don't need that! Capes? You should have one of those by now!

So, if Guild Wars decides to go with this idea, or another one that doesn't mean that the game is going to turn into some cross between "my little pony/harvest moon/the sims" and Martha Steward is going to be giving cooking lessions in our guild halls! And if someone has an idea, it doesn't mean that the makers of Guild Wars are going to going to put in every idea that eveybody posts on this board.

It seems like every other idea someone comes up with there are those people who find it so easy to bash it, rip it to shreds, and throw it in the trash! Here's a challenge...look at someone's idea and say "MMM...I know a way to make his/her idea even better!" Then maybe instead of writing a terribly written short story (and giving yourself carpo tunnel) about why you think the idea is bad, you might actually get somewhere!

One last thing, don't sit there and write about how you can't figure out how the Guild Wars Team is going to incorporate an idea like allowing characters to have homes, they're software engineers! If they want to add it to the game, they'll figure it out! "Oh, the server might crash!" OMG! They'll take care of it! They're "Professionals" they're leaps and bounds ahead of you and they worry about those issues, so you don't have too. Oh, if you are a programer that's worried about this stuff, get a job there! Then you can have control (some what) about whats goes in and what stays out of the game.

In closing Guild Wars is one of the most addicting most of us has every played. Regardless of what ideas anyone posts here (good or bad) I'm sure that if the Makers of Guild Wars take our ideas and add their skill, they'll come up with expansions and updates that will continue to rock for time to come. They did it without our help and they can do it again. We should only feel so lucky that these game Developers are so interested in hearing what we have to say. So make it worth your while, say something intelligent for a change, instead bashing everyone else's idea.
